QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • I've always been a big fan of BC coilovers and am ready to get a pair for my S13 drift build. I want to be sure I get the best ride for it and am having trouble figuring out what spring rates to use. I'm running an Sr20 and looking for a rates that will keep me planted on the track, when not drifting and just cornering, while also being able to have a nice daily ride since I like to take the car around town often.

The spring rates are based on the vehicle's weight so we always recommend the ones that come on the kit. Increasing them greatly will reduce the amount they allow you to lower your vehicle since the vehicle's weight remains the same. We always recommend upgrading to Swift Springs as well to improve comfort but also performance.
